Something I made last week

WIP

Finished

Last week I decided to sketch my youngest daughter again. Gave her some wings, because she is my little princess fairy. When I finished the sketch I decided to put her in a background of pastels. ^^

At the moment I'm working on another sketch of my daughter and I'm trying out my aquarel pencils on the sketch.

Trying out Pastels...

Sadie in Pastels

Reference picture

I like trying out things... so one day I bought some cheap pastels and decided to try them out. I tried them out on a portrait of my dog Sadie. I used a puppie picture as reference. Cute!!! ^^

Something different

Surpluss Princess

This is a mermaid from a kdrama serie I watched. It's called Surpluss Princess.

My first A4 size Portrait.

WIP Park Yoo-chun portrait

Finished portrait

My first A4 size portrait. The sketch is of Park Yoo-chun. He is a Korean actor and singer in Kpop group JYJ. Still proud of it. :-D

Portrait of Jang Keun-suk

WIP Jang Keun-suk portrait

Finished portrait

First attempt at making a bit bigger sketch... The guy in the sketch is a Korean actor named Jang Keun-suk. Did I mention I was slightly addicted to Kdrama's? <blush> :-)

One of my first sketches

The sketch above is one of the first sketches I made last year. It's a miniature portrait. I love sketching in miniature. ^^

Welcome...Introducing myself...

On this Blog I will be posting my progress in the world of sketching and art.

First a small introduction:
My name is Antoinette Wolters. I'm living in the Netherlands together with my hubby and 4 kids.

I have a lot of hobbies, but music and sketching are the main ones.
I've been making music from the age of 6 on different instruments.
I started sketching about a year ago. I started sketching through my kids. They're great artists and I wanted to see how well I could do with sketching. I mainly try to sketch realistic/ semirealistic in black and white with pencil, but sometimes like to do something totally different too.

On this Blog I will be posting my art and I hope you will like it. :)
